Was reading alot baout the US race last night, aparently the teams had also asked the FIA to put in a chicane (sp?) and they would have raced. The organisers were fine with this but the FIA wasn't.

I missed the race anyhow but its funnt that it took 7 teams to pull out for MS to win.

RE comments about him almost taking out his teammate, it wouldn't surprise me. MS has always been the sort imo that unless he's comfortably in front or in total control at the front, is pretty much is playing carmageddon on his visor.

How many incidents was he in last year (sure they might have been fine within the rules.. but still)

Hahaha Schuey will take anybody out if it suits him. He's collided with so many drivers that I've lost count.

That's not why, I think 7 World Championships might have something to do with it though!

Very interesting interview with Max Mosely on www.formula1.com

I can't think of a penalty that the FIA can dish out that would be fair to all Michelin teams.
- They can't suspend them as they did to BAR, that would create the US Grand Prix problem all over again.
- They can't remove points, BAR have none, they would be gaining an advantage.
-If they fine them, the poorer teams suffer more, the point of the engine and tyre regulation changes was to reduce costs for the poorer teams...

Wednesday will be very interesting indeed.

Interesting interview indeed. The 7 teams are threatening boycotts if they are punished. Very lame, they can't expect to get away with it. Only a couple of days before we find out. This message was posted from a Z600

The interesting thing about it is that while people will certainly blame all 7 teams, they weren't exactly sitting around either. They were also trying to put moves into place to race as well but were turned down by the FIA.

While it's bad the fans missed out you can't just blame the teams alone so I think all around theres going to be alot of facecloths full of egg.

It would suck if Ferarri were handed the championship as a result.. There's no way they've earned it.
