Well the dimensions are kind of weird. I think we are doing something wrong. The width is about the same with Z ultra when the side frames are added. But the lcd panel alone is about 5 mm longer than Z ultra with the bezels and frame included.. So if the bezels still exist (I think they do) we are looking at a very weird handset. Slim but very very long

Perhaps it is a 'tube' design wraparound screen so in fact we should be viewing this horizontally and halved as a footprint for a device?

Well I think these are phone's dimensions. So we are looking at a 6 inchish phablet which makes sense. The glass covers all the surface so it could be considered as a whole part with the lcd panel

bezel-less sides? sure, possible. bezel-less top and bottom? no. remember, they have to fit 2 front speakers, earpiece, several sensors, front camera sensor and more.
i am excited about a 21:9 display ratio design but i'm not excited about that display dimensions. from how things look as of now i will most likely end buying the main flag, i'm loosing hope for a first phablet flag from sony.

IF those new device measurements are for the whole device dimensions (and not for the display panel dimensions only) then it is awesome! pocket friendly borderline - acceptable. they are even slightly smaller all around then t2 ultra's yet sides are super narrow thanks to the 21:9, hence, a plus for hand grip and pocket. they have my money for xperia phablet flag with dat futuristic 21:9 ratio.

Yes, well, at least we can be optimistic about it not being a mid ranger since the rumored c/t ultra 5.8" e57xx exists they say.
