@Whybe: The best do it all is you, me, us all, not some piece of electronics.

If that were true, I could save a lot on my cell phone bill

We could have miniture cell phones implanted in our bodies powered by our bodies own energy system!
re: what do I use pda for - I use it for doing up invoices (for my customer's) - I can use excel to do up an invoice and email it on the spot. Also for web browsing where I can use the qwerty keypad to make text entry easier (web addresses, posting on threads etc). Also for remote access of client servers through RDP, wifi web browsing at home on the lounge or when at friends places or other free wifi hotspots. The touch screen makes many tasks much simpler so while most of the software I use on a pda is also possible to do via J2ME on a non-smartphone handset, nevertheless the touchscreen makes things so much easier.
However I've never yet found a PDA that truly satisfies my ergonomics requirements of a phone (ie calls and sms) or as a decent camera phone, so therefore I have not yet combined my two needs into one device.

we'll have to wait till the specs are out, but it doesn't have a qwerty keypad which rules it out for me.
It looks good, but I'm more interested in the potential of the X1q tbh. (though multi-touch is a good move by Nokia)
