It seems that the Xperia has a few internal hardware difference compared to the Touch pro,
Totally different Camera Modules even the aGPS device

@WhyBe
Thats something that is bothering me a little.
A lot of rumours accross the net are pointing to SE having a few glitches with the panel interface, and a lot of video , allbeit of pre production units , shows the transitions as being slow.
I am also wondering why BengalBoy still has the 128Mb unit, and not the 256Mb.
SE's performance this year has not exactly been stellar, and i am hoping they can at least deliver the X1 as a complete solution.
They need to reassure there fan base that they are still a solid company.

I have just heard that a OMAP3 powered device is now expected Q1 2009 so for me that means i will hold off on any purchase until they have been announced.
Well, if the OMAP3 powered device is
announced Q1 2009, when will it be available? According to

's schedule, (read: X1), somewhere between Q4 2009 and Q1 2010?

K850 and X1 are damn near the same size
What are you waiting for (besides the X1 release date

) ?
The touch pro and x1 are around 40% heavier than the K850.
The X1 is half a centimetre wider and almost a whole centimetre longer!
K850 is "JUST" small enough (although a little thinner would be nice), so you can see what I mean that they are still too big.
They are getting smaller each year. And they'll keep getting smaller.

@max
But you don't won't a PDA type device with K850 size screen or do you? Personally i was shocked to realise that the Touch Pro only has a 2.8" screen as feel that is really quite small for a smart phone and a good Web browsing and Multimedia viewing experience.

no, but the K850 has half the front surface dedicated to keypad. I'm talking about an x1 style form factor (sideways slide), but the size of the K850 (but a bit thinner).
The majority of the front surface can be devoted to screen. There is a touchscreen, so you can bring up contacts using touch, no need to open the phone for making calls. But when you do open the phone it becomes a landscape device with a wide screen (web, video best in this format).

That's fine if you are completely comfortable with the K850.
BUT comparing it to the Xperia X1 ??
That's not even oranges and apples... ( no pun intended)

?? When did I compare anything other than the size of the K850? I was only using the size of the K850 as an example of the size of WM AIO handset I would like to see. I wasn't comparing the K850 itself to X1
Why can't people read posts before replying to them?
