yea, someday in the near future. But for the moment you need gmail account for the market. There are still some options to avoid this, but...

So.. sealover wants us instead of getting an X10, to buy a phone that dose not and will never exist? Think I'll stick with something that's actually based in reality

I've not personally checked this out but I can imagine that you don't need a gmail account as such but you will need a google account (which you can sign up for with any email account). That is the way google tend to run their other services..

In one point he is right, it spends money if you wait for a never releasing device

But if I want a powerful, nicelooking, easy to use device, that is real and that is out in the stores and have the money for it, I will invest in it, the device is called Xperia X10 by the way.

As sealover has no other job as spamming around in forums and behave childish, he seems simply not to have money for the device, that's why he is trolling around, like most of trolls are children. He calls us children who have to lend money from our parents, and does it very often, isn't it apparent who the child is? Trying to offend everyone here draws off the attention from him, of course.

At the beginning he had some arguments (which he repeated several times per day), but he tried to prove them. The arguments became less or has gone completely, the smilies in the posts became more instead. And the number of offtopic trash and spam increased very fast. If someone reads the X10 thread he doesn't want to know anything about Windows nor iPhone nor Dell nor other rubbish this baby presented to us (most of them not even announced devices).

And what about the bet, where are the 50 EUR sealover??? No money? No ego? No intelligence? STFU finally, stupid child.

Does this mean the phone is officially available in stores or was this phone given to a reviewer ahead of release or something? I'm soooo ready to get this phone!

In Sweden it usually takes about 10-14 days from a reviewer gets the phone until it's in store shelves. This is commercial units and it's here in Sweden.

Another retail chain, Elkjöp (in Norway, Elgiganten in Sweden, owned by Dixons I think), said that the phone comes to their central storage the 22nd of March.
