Hi,

Sorry if some body has brought this up before. This is an exciting thread but it is too long to read. Is there any tweak in the cam driver that we can perform the following:

1) Manual focusing? Sometime it would be useful to focus manually.
2) Force the flash light to be on, instead of using Automatic setting. This is especially useful when taking photo against bright background.
3) Set the desire ISO. Currently, it is all put as different scene, and it is quite tedious to select the correct scene.
4) Enable us to enable or disable the shake reduction.

Thanks.

1) Yes. Look a 1-3 pages back
2) You can force the flash to be always on. There are some drivers that have this, however I can't remember right now a driver that has this. Maybe somebody else can help you.
3) Afaik, it's partially possible, however the phone doesn't always use the forced value.
4) Not possible, the camera crashes when you try to take a picture.

Picture of moon at night with K810 @ Modmix, 2 sec exposure:

Picture with Nikon Coolpix E4600 in same conditions:

the K810 pic looks better and has less noise, lol

Picture of horizon with K790 @ Modmix, 2 sec exposure:

Same picture after applying Auto Levels/Contrast and Noise Ninja:

Just think if Sony had implemented this kind of noise reduction in the firmware, we would have crystal clear pictures.
