Do you guys think that dual cam would be strong enough to extend time of SSM?

The fact that both will work together.
I dont know if there will be DRAM inside one or two..

It'll have more space for the DRAM of course, but it all depends on what Sony decides to do. They could double it up, or add even more DRAM for longer super slow mo. No way to tell until they reveal it.

It all depends what sensors sony will decide to use, if they will have dual IMX400 or something else. If they will use 2 different sensors then at least one of the sensors will have to be the imx400 in order to keep the fullhd 480fps.

All phones with SD845 can do 4K 60fps SDR. I do not know why it is locked on XZ2.
At least it can be easily added when updated to 8.1...

SD845 suports only up to 32MP, sadly it cannot be 19 + 19.
Imx400 will be almost 1,5 y.o, so a new might be used..
I just hope it is not 12 + 12 ... 12 is too low..

Smaller crop of 12MP fools ppl and makes them believe pics are good.
Bigger sensor and high res will always have potential to be better.

Damn that guy was all over the place, interrupting the nice lady when she's trying to describe things. I would've smacked him after a while, lol.

I thought the exact same thing my friend. He'd ask the hostess one question and wouldn't even allow her to finish.

ha charbax, yes his videos are always like this.

It does seem like the 4k app can't record for endless amount of time and will turn off if the phone begins overheating.

Ha notice how she slipped up and said and I quote "well this is coming, uhh, this is..."

Also 2 big cameras, 2 big lenses, 2 big sensors.

Just cross posting from the XZ2 thread, but someone had pointed out that GSM Arena also had the XZ2 in their video comparison tool. In low light, this is possibly the best phone for video on the market

Here's a selection of images I put together from the low light comparison of the S9, XZ2 and Pixel 2 XL:

S845 also supports 4K 60fps HDR but none of the phones (with S845) on the market offers that.

@XJ

April or September?
What kind of black magic they put on XZ2?
Cause 1/8s, ISO 200 without OIS, handheld in a room where light was set 20 lux.
It has to be voodoo, black magic....

😆

September would be my best guess but who knows. All I do know is that this dual sensor Sony showcased at MWC will make all others look redundant and it'll have an exclusive to Sony only for about 2 years too just like the IMX220.
