Just to latch onto what "el mono inalambrico" said about not being able to connect at times, does anybody have any other i.p. addresses which one could use with Vodacom and MTN to access wap? I have a few which seem to work when one network or the other is down, but quite possibly somebody may have something faster.

@Siosal: I like neither Oz nor the Poms...if England win it will be 1966 all over again and they'll have to wait another 40 years to win anything.
They're lucky because they're playing an Austrilian side in decline.

battery life is between 2and3 hours surfing with 3G, 3.5 to 4hours on gprs using moderat amount of 3G my actu lasts about a day.
watching news on 3G is more or less the same than a 30 cm colour tv, except that the tv got more detail. its good for 20 to 30 minutes watching in extreme conditions more than that and it really gets to work on ya eyes. . . i would not recommend longer than 5to 10 min sessions. . .

Insurance wheels are finally in motion. The Kryptik One has been requested by the insurer's cellular division to produce 1 x faulty phone as well as 1 x faulty mmc in order for them to furnish the Kryptik One with 1 x new phone and 1 x new mmc. At last...

Will they furnish the Kryptik one with a 6600? My former colleague had her K700 stolen twice in less then four months and each time the insurers gave her a new K700.

The Kryptik One has been reliably informed that the insurer will furnish abovementioned personage with either a 6600, subject to stock availability, or the next model in range, should said model be discontinued. Which i hope to high heavens it is!!! I'm really hoping i get a choice of manufacturer too...

The daily Wanqsta Watch has spotted another MASSIVE cellphone bargain here:
@ KRYPTIK,
Hold onto yer breath,matey:
P910i on huge special,sold sim-free/cash, (No branding,no locks,just pure sim-free).was £359.95,
now from today....jonga kumnandi:
£229.95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Approx R2702)
There, that's the first time I have used more exclamation marks in a post than 786KBR!
This is through Mobilefun's website. If you know someone flying back to SA soon,it would be a good time to act...
Even if you get the 6600 again, you could surely get the bulk of this money by selling it at your nearest Cash Whatevers.
Here's the link,guys:

Sigh, don't we just love big cellphone price drops? (Unless,of course,we have just bought BEFORE a big price drop...)
I guess that''s the nature of this beast that we are all so into.
