@SPU
let's say honestly, we take photos using 2mpx with limited capabilities and not with professional camera. should we be angry because of the small granulosis and artefacts visible at zoom x6 when decreasing compression level from 90% to 87%? i think not because of 3 reasons:
1. 90% in some situation/model/firmware can be unstable
2. go many pages ago - many peoples did not notice the difference between 89% and 75% (called auto) compression
3. declared in driver compression value with 07 02 00 13 $w2 $w2 $w2 when register2 = 0x5C doesn't mean that you exactly such value of the compression obtain. phone software has some kind of behaviour which check that desired value can be reached with the correct border size of the file without crash. result is one - you can get various value even 75% at this same driver!
i can easily prove that on driver with declared 87% i took picture at 95% and 76%.
so... should we consider the matter of the compression? i think this is useless
for everyone interested: very nice JPEG examiner...

quantization table marker is the most interesting thing...

Hi, guys some pics from Sarmad's 5.6 (optimized for W810) Spot ver. driver taken with my w810i cid49 FW: R4EA031, and comments!
First of all this is my first post on this thread, and keep it alive:-)
1. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Daylight, EV+0.0, macro: 1.0 Auto
comment: Nice vivid colors compared to next 6, cc off is way better for me(green is green not dark mood green).
2. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Daylight, EV+0.33, macro: 1.0 Auto
comment: Little overexposed(EV+0.33), thus little blur is present, color is nice.
3. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Daylight, EV+0.33, macro: 1.0 Auto
comment: Little overexposed too, colors are little bit lifeless.
4. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Daylight, EV+0.33, macro: 1.2 - 4.0 Manual
comment: Colors are stone dead, more exposure needed(my mistake

)
5. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Daylight, EV+0.33, macro: 1.2 - 4.0 Manual
comment: Nice vivid colors, overexposed a little bit.
6. cc: off(NORMAL), WB: Auto, EV+0.00, 1.2 - 4.0 Manual
comment: Fine colors, good exposure.
7. cc: on(FINE), WB: Auto, EV+0.00, macro: 1.0 Auto
comment: CC is on extremely moody green, + WB auto too dark(my opinion)
Sarmad's 5.6 is better than stock 4.5, but i get dead and moody colors, i guess i will try Kriomag's to see the difference cuz i like more rich colors. Any suggestions to which driver is more suitable for me or some shooting techniques on how to make my pics look better, are welcomed. And we must stop arguing about strange colors because we all have different eyes

, and all have different monitors(Mine is Samsung 959NF cable: BNC)!
P.S: We must make complete user manual with example shots and instructions in .pdf or something for all known drivers. Bye!

Can you make 21.91 based on 4.5? in 5.7.
or Kriomag to find w810 and test with him

You are totally misunderstanding how the compession settings works in the driver. It's too long to decribe all nuances of the settings and register values, may be later.
In my driver all pictures has a FIXED quality. You can check this with the utility above.
go many pages ago - many peoples did not notice the difference between 89% and 75% (called auto) compression
I'm not many. I notice the difference between 87-89% and 92%. Just compare a shots with the trees.

I made this driver on my W800 and it works, so...

Btw, compression behavior is the same in all latest versions.
