@ofiaich: It so depends on the charger you're using and how much you're using the phone during that time. I use 3 different chargers (A/C, USB & Car). Car is the fastest, then comes the A/C and last comes USB.

Yesterday I managed to get just over 28hrs on battery, with over 1.5hrs of phone calls, bluetooth in car, WiFi, low signal areas. A few games, some browsing...etc. I would say above moderate use. At the moment, I have 38% left and it's been over 18.5hrs since I last charged the phone. I'm pretty much satisfied with the new battery performance and the whole 2.3.3 experience

Battery life has significantly improved, I have been listening to music for about 1 hour now and it has only used up 2% battery life.

I canīt understand how you get such a great battery lifetime! yesterday iīve done a complete reset of my arc, reinstalled everything need and the battery drain is not gone. Also, after reinstallation, iīve seen no update in the market for whatsapp, facebook, ... - did a manual update of them.

The facebook notification in locksreen also doesnīt working. i can see notifications of the original facebook app in the status line but nothing on the locksreen - even after 1 minute waiting for refres...

@SirRobin: Did you get the 2.3.3 update or not yet? If not, then rather wait a bit, it's worth it.

Hi everyone!

easy question!

How long does it take to charge a fully drained Sony Ericsson Arc?

I seem to be at 68 % in about 30 minutes.....

Ofiaich

Should take roughly 2-2― hours. The last 10% always take the longest time.

@SirRobin, I am using a Rogers phone but in Canada we did not get the update via Rogers Carrier yet. So I got some custom ROM that had 2.3.3 as part of the firmware. It loaded onto my phone no problems. I had took my phone off the charger this morning at 6.10 am and it is 10.48pm now, the phone is stating it has been on battery for 16h 19M on battery. I am at 71% right now still, I just used it to check email, light surfing a few phone calls and whatsapp/facebook checks. This is significantly better than when I was on 2.3.2 where I would be close to 30/40% at this time of day. If I used it quite heavily I would be seeing the red icon on my battery meter too. If you look at the running apps they have actually not auto started the media server function which helps a lot. Another thing I do by habit as well is when you finish charging the phone unlock the screen first then unplug the power cable. That helped me a bit in 2.3.2 and also a reboot right after. But since moving to 2.3.3 I have just done the unlock screen then unplug. I have not had to reboot it.
