Look and compare the 3rd and 4th pic you have posted... It's quite clear how the viewing angles are not good in that Z1...

Frankly speaking, all the Z1's pics of display I have seen on the net, all have weak viewing angles... The displays might look good on some pics but overall all displays have been same as of now...

so what to do hear?

so are they all gonna have the bad display in theat specific store, or its a mixed bag? and i can get lucky?
@moogoo, does your screen is like that one ?

thank you guys.

i deleted the stock pics. if someone can upload that one in full size somewhere so i can download it, i can take pics of my Z1 with it and post to compare

that being said, i'm actually very happy with my screen. i haven't come across any thing where i felt like i was being limited by the viewing angles and i watch a lot of hulu, netflix, amazon on my phone.. dark and light scenes look fine. there is some shift if the angle is off, but not so much that i can't see what's going on or it looks like a horrible image.

tbh, i really couldent care less about the viewing angles... i will never look at my phone at these angles.. i wanted to know if the contrast, color an so ecc, was as good as on other z1 out there, but i guess they are. i will buy this beast next week, and then i will burn my crappy galaxy s1 haha

When trying the Z1 in store I couldn't believe how smooth the refresh rate was with the camera on screen. Smoothest I ever seen on any phone and that's without OIS

I bet there's an app for that

1. Connect your Android device to your computer (Windows or Mac should both work) via the USB cable.
2. On your Android, pull down the main menu (swipe down from the top of the screen) and select "USB connection."
3. On the next page, choose USB Mass Storage and hit OK.
4. You'll see a new drive or "Removable Disk" appear on your computer for the SD card. Open it up, and copy all the files inside to a new location on your computer. I would put the date right into the name of the folder—something like "130815_ANDROID-SD-CARD-BACKUP"—so you can very easily identify it and when it was created.PCMag

My Z1 is about to arrive (any day next week), and I was going to ask you guys, since Z1 doesn't come with much of video codecs, what app do you recommend in terms of additional video format/codec support?
