hello all
the bangalore esato meet officially began at 11.45am today. it was scheduled to begin at 11 at garuda mall; however due to some ambiguity about its location, debu was waiting at the bangalore central. so i met him there where he was signing up for some competition.
after about 15 mins, entered govi. debu talked to gov about his work while waiting for arun. we decided to go for a stroll and circled bangalore central, when gov got a message from arun saying he was on a bus that was taking him all around the city and that he would be a little late.
the three of us walked down the road to garuda mall. we were looking around in the mall when arun called saying he was at the central. i gave directions to him for reaching the mall.while we were waiting at the entrance for arun, debu decided to visit the atm to fill up his pockets.
arun arrived and introduced himself. seeing him for the first time, i thought how can such a quiet looking guy be a "killer".
we entered the mall and decided to have a photo taken.

debu gave my cell to a shopkeeper who took ages to focus us and finally returned it saying he'd taken a pic.but actually he hadnt..
we roamed around in the mall looking at various shops. we went in to global access where we checked out
, nokias and samsungs. arun was in love with the k750 while debu fell in love with a samsung e880 for its rotating cam. i showed debu that even the n90 had a rotating cam. the wta edition w800 was also on display there.

we left the mobile showroom and explored the other parts of the mall. we came to amoeba where debu and govi decided to play ice hockey. debu had got a big bag that he gave to me while he was playing. i was wondering what he was carrying in it...

we reached the multiplex "inox", next to which was "scary house". i wanted to go in but debu and govi werent interested. so arun and me got tickets. 3 hot chicks were in front of us in the line and we hoped that we would be in the same group for going in(if it was indeed scary, they would get frightened and scream and *ahem*...
). unfortunately, the attender ruined the chance and me and arun went in alone, into a dark room illuminated with red lights only. the guy there told us to read the story written on the wall, when two more guys joined the show. the 3 girls were a little ahead of us,in the next cubicle and were screaming...
oh well...when we came out, we came to know that govi and debu were in the food court. we joined them and had lunch, after which debu drew his treo650 and k-jam from his bag. arun tried to listen to some music on the k-jam,when debu put his drew his hand again into his bag and drew an ipod nano! that wasnt the end of it. debu wanted to check if there was was wi-fi available,so he put his hand into his bag yet again and took out his lappy! no wifi network was present and we decided to call it a day.

we were going down by the escalator when govi spotted a music system shop. debu went in to have a look and we followed. the speakers rocked!
when came out, i spotted a sony showroom and we went in to have a look.
there were plasmas,walkmans(or is it walkmen, handycams, cybershots, and other accessories including 2gb sony memory stick pro duos as well as a few
models. we left the shop and exited the mall, but hung around for some more time.
i decided to play with debu's lappy in the mean time and arun joined me. finally i said adios to the three and headed for home. debu and govi however went to brigade road to buy something and arun joined them.

That certainly sums up the meet... although the closest we came to the F1 theme was a model ferrari about a foot long...
The Air hockey was fun, we started playing and bang!! all though other 3 tables were full and ppl were crowding around us... although we searched for "Vcop" , we could not find it..
In brigades, we went in search of Zippos, we did not like any so, we decided not to get one....
Well, Arun, is "quite" a killer
! he was astounded by the amount of laziness whihc debu and myself carried... I picked up an auto at brigades, and took a "long" short cut which got arun confused, and finally dropeed him off at the place where he can get a bus, well he stays 10kms away from where i stay....

@whiz i blame arun for that. Here's a detailed account of what happened:the 3 girls were in front of us in the line going in,with arun and me behind. As i said before, we got separated and never say them during the show.
after the show i exited before arun as he was behind me. I looked around for debu and govi but couldnt see them. However i say the trio standing at the foot of the escalator. I headed straight towards them with arun right by my side.A passer-by asked me what was inside the scary house. I ignored him and continued towards the girls. I had not taken more than a few steps when i noticed arun had disappeared. I had to stop and look around for him and i found him telling the guy about scary house. arun joined me back and by the time we came near the escalator the chicks were already boarding it, shooting a backward glance at us as they did so.
