Wonders will never end.
Its 03.40hrs, I woke up 10mins ago, and picked up my phone (with the mtn sim) to check the time, mistakenly I pushed the "online" button and in seconds I was in. I jumped up, plugged in my data cable and pronto I got a connection at speeds I could only imagine.
There's hope still for MTN. I'll do a speed test later.

Unable to perform speed tests, but the speed is good.
I'm using the IP address Kryptic suggested.

After amby's update, I picked up my t68i: the alternative IP did not work in my case; MTN's original settings do. Na wa o.
WAP & Email work. However, the MTN connection here is still just as temperamental. Comes on and back off like a stormy wave.... I also notice that as long as you dont disconnect, its relatively stable. Getting a connection AFTER disconnecting is harder than finding a needle in the Sahara.

This is why it is called testin. My connection today is at blazin speed, but who knw's what it will be like l8r durin the day. Remember Mtn didn't limit pc access to post paid big men alone unlike glo,Tho mine never worked but i'm happy that someone out there is using theirs and the best part 4 FREE.

Chelsea rules!

@Bennie: The past week when my MTN connection was off, I spent approximately N1,500 on Glo recharge cards, and this only gave me access to wap.
This morning alone, I have done 35mb of data download via web, and i don't have to pay a kobo. Awoof dey run belle, but e dey sweet.
Speed tests: 31-33kpbs (web), 4-6kpbs (wap)

@bennie: I have posted tips on configuring email on your mobile. Its under the "Tips" section. But for it to work on Glo, you need to be subscribed to glodirect, not WAP.
