Thanks for all the replies...im still very confused with which one to get...i have the z n having a shutter button would be perfect...but if I was to upgrade, I really want a bigger screen n especially with the new z ultra battery cover coming out im starting to really like the ultra...but, it doesnt have flash n it doesnt have shutter button...on the other hand, great screen for movies (i watch a lot of movies on my phone/tablet) n pictures, (showing pictures on my z to friends they all say wow!) imagine what they would say on the ultra! Plus that extra battery cover n use-anything-as-a-stylus screen really making it hard for me....dammit...I'm actually thinking of getting the z ultra simply because I've never had a phablet before... Don't consider the z a phablet cos it's a phone...

If you don't need a good cam and LED flash and the size is no problem for you -> then take Ultra!!!

I had an Ultra and couldn't live with the camera, the size was also an issue but probably would have kept it if it had the same camera as the Z1, if I hadn't bought the ultra and had to choose now it would be the Z1 every time
The ultra is just too big for a bloke to carry in a pocket and the camera is all but useless in low light

If you already have a Z, then there isn't really a point upgrading immediately. Just wait for the Z2 or whatever its called.

I'll probably go for the Z1 after my holiday in Holland in November. Three said I can upgrade from my sim only to phone contract after 3 months. But we'll see what comes out by then as there maybe something even better.

I know this isn't directly about the Xperia Z1 but if you head over to my Flickr page I have just taken some shots with my QX10 SmartLens this is the first time I have had a chance to use it so I don't quiet know what are the best settings. All photos were taken in Superior auto mainly in 13MP resolution however there are a few a 18MP I have also taken the same shot but using the 10x optical zoom.There are 20 photos in total Let me know what you guys think.

my quick glance and terrible chinese skills tells me it says there is 30% more ppl asking to apply screen protector for Z1 than other phones.
