Tell me about it, i set up my dad's email. Only 1000keystrokes for him to remember. What a farce. If that browser interface could be improved upon it'd certainly be a huge improvement. This message was posted from a Nokia

I've been quiet here today because brotherman had to sort out some tax issues with SARS...wouldn't want the cops breaking down my door in search of R10 000 which I owe the government. So I went to them before they came to me.

My precious' radio has started acting weird...in the SE General forum I made a post about my experience this morning.

The radio problems make me want to sell my precious and and get a "better phone". But which one?

I'm holding out for 3G...made a promise to buy a phone next year but damn it seems so far off at times.

@Kryptik: Any luck getting the P910i( which I briefly considered as my next phone)

@ brix,
LOL,perhaps SARS will use your 'contribution' to assist completion of that nice, new, extravagant building of theirs in Jozi...

On money matters, I cancelled my ABSA account while I was in SA.I had kept the account open to transfer funds to SA if necessary, but haven't really used it.I also used it as an emergency back-up if I suddenly needed additional funds while in SA.Well,I am losing R50 a month just for the 'privilege' of having an account (R30 minimum fee a month...WTF?!),then I get charged R19.50 a month for having the audacity of using Internet banking, with a few extra Rands for 'admin fees'...Kiss my pert rear, yer bankers!
Honestly,I feel for the people in SA who could so make do with that extra R30 a month, without the banks finding every which way to milk them.
And as for being charged for depositing money into my account..oh please...I'd better stop bitchin'...blood pressure and all that!
Hopefully Barclays' (in)vested interest in ABSA will prove to have a positive impact on all concerned in our beautiful country...

Congrats to a certain ex-pat playing for the Poms, who stemmed the Aussie onslaught of messrs Warne and McGrath at The Oval today.
His last heroics during the earlier one-day series made the tabloids print back-page titles like 'Pieter The Great', 'Well done,my Sen',etc...so who knows what will be printed tomorrow...

ABSA's announcement of Sunday banking hints at the Barclay's influence, so maybe we'll see an improvement in other areas of banking as well. Re-replacement phone, the insurer called today. By this time tomorr i should know whether i get to choose a replacement. I'm hoping i can upgrade and pay in the difference... This message was posted from a Nokia

Don't know what Sunday banking achieve when many people can simply go on the net. On hearing the news members of the Transvaal Landbou Unie swore blue murder and promised the wrath of God at ABSA. This message was posted from a K700i

My father said much the same earlier this evening. Liquor stores open on Sundays, now ABSA... The oom reckons it's "the start of moral degradation on horrific scale" (sic). It may interest you to know he had even worse to say about SARS.. "...bloody *censored* robbers *censored* idiots..." This message was posted from a Nokia
