HELP...this is one of the first time am d/l a game and facing bit trouble in installing.i need ur opinion if what i did was safe.somehow i am feeling bit insecure
downloaded POP sand of time(thanks to has for the links).but on installing(install.exe),it seems someone played wth the game and showed the intalling interface developed by the ripper.anyway,i did an avg scan on this...no virus.. i get thisinstruction to open the file "unpak.bat".so before doing anything,i checked the entire files for any virus using avg.no virus.now i click on the unpak.bat file and MS notifies me that such files are not to be opened unless sure.so i edit the file and mark that POP file can be trusted.so now the unpak file opens using [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UHarc]UHARC[url/].now the graphics and sounds are loaded.after that the game is loaded using 'wave injection'.and then the game asked permission for editing the registary.finally the rippers interface appears again saying the game is instlled and enjoy it.
since the ripper made changes during the installation process,i feel bit insecure.runing avg now...and so far (15min)no problem seems to be there.still,is there anyway i can know what all changes the whole installation did to my pc?

anyway i dont think there's anything to worry abt, i have installed lots of ripped games which edit the registry, nothing has happened so far....... nothing that i have noticed anyway

@blu,what do u think?not just the registery but the other steps also...
BTW,the game is working perfect.

.if 1 cd of sand of time is soo good then i wonder how good the 3-4 cd of warrior within will be like...cant wait to play it all
.downloaded the whole game last night.tonight i will be getting two thrones
.but warrior within will take around 7-10 days for me

the install interface made by the ripper was bit terrifying...coz it showed the edited picture of carrl marx wearing a stylish rayban backed by terrifynf hard rock sound and some bullshit slogans like"f**k miss parker...." etc.
