Speed depends on a lot of factors,the newer nokias from 6630 onwards are class 10 it seems.So they r the fastest. I have heard that sharp phones have class 12 gprs.

Now I activated my airtel gprs. But i found that there was a problem in modem drive. Now I reinstalled drive. My connection can't dial *99***2#, *99***1# can only dialed by my set with AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" command (automatic generated). i tried to dial *99***2# but its never connected. *99***1# connected with 460.8 connection speed. i m useing 100.1.200.99 /8080 port in mobile and in IE 6>internet option>connection >setting> proxy server> 100.1.200.99/8080 setting it can't open webpage if i use 100.1.200.16/8080 setting its open welcome to jboss site very fast. at present i use 100.1.200.16 without port setting. its open webpages but connection singnal blink every time I mean to say that speed is very slow like 1kbps or low how i use fast as 115 kbps. I cant surf and download any thing.
One more thing that your third method working very well but its for mobile not for pc. plese tell me how surf and download fast in pc. You are only my hope because its only your who give us that tricks to free surfing.

I was also getting 30-40kbps on my N6600. But in 6630, speed never comes below than 40kbps.

I think downloads are blocked in Karnataka. I have already posted that error in one of my previous post. Now I can't download a file which is more than one MB from any site. "Your Freedom" software is also not working now.
I think ronny is lucky as he can download more than one MB.
But one thing guys, web pages are opening very fast. I feel that I have a 128kbps connection. But no Downloads!!! LOL

I am glad to know that you can download files from rapi*share. But unfortunately Iam not. By the way, there are many account generators available for Rapi*share. But the working chances are very less(Rapi*share is very quick in blocking those). You don't need any premium account for Mega*pload. Flashget & Megaleecher will do the job.
