This may help for configuring ML indigo GPRS
In most mobiles u only need to put in APN which is connect.mobilinkworld.com
On your PC after installing appropriate modem (Bluetooth or Cable), make a new connection that uses aforementioned modems and just putin the Dial number *99# and leave username and password fields blank, and click to connect. No need for extra initialization commands, at least for Sony ericsson phones and i-mate JAM, Jamin, PDA2k, Qtek 2020, O2 etc

ok sorry for the late reply.
In PC Suit when it ask for Access Point just put connect.mobilinkworld.com and leave User Name and Password blank.
Nokia fones needs to put the extra Intializing String in modem settings. Sometimes there is problem in mobilink network (as usaul) thats why u recieve PPP errror or simply no communication after connecting it is normal.
I live in Islamabad thats why every service is good, so usaully gets downloading speed of 4-5 KB/s. cant say about other cities. currently using ML GPRS at the time of posting. i can easily open all the site.

Hello guys,
I need some info on the Ufone Public demand package, if you please could answer the following:
* Is international sms the same price as that on normal Ufone prepaid package: Rs 1.5 + tax?
* Is international calling also the same price as normal Ufone prepaid?
* What is the recharge validity of credit? 1 year for Rs 500 and above?
* Is SMS bundle offer available for Public demand users like normal Ufone prepaid?
Thanks a bunch, in advance!

As far as i know Public demand have all the features of a normal prepay package. except for the night rate 1.50rs after 10:00 pm.
when u top tup is available who cares about validity. 10rs gives 15 days validity. (It is only my opinion)

Thanks Shuak. Well, in my case, Im only in PK a couple of weeks a year so keeping my no. till my next trip is rather convenient, thats why the validity query.
Its weird, on the Ufone website, they dont mention any relevant info on the Public Demand package except the 99p / 30s flat rate for all.
For me, Ufone is the better bet as they have the amazing SMS bundle deal, along with the hundreds of international sms's I send out for Rs. 2 each, on my E61.. gets very tempting.

yeah i dont know why they have just scan their paper add and uploaded on the site.
oh than u should recharge ur account for 500rs or above beacuase this will give validity for 1 year.
yes u fone is very good for users like u who sends int'l msgs.
and yeah there is another way to keep ur connection active ask ufone to block ur account and when u visit PK again unblock it again they will do this free of cost. give it a try too.

Blocking is one option, but then you need to call or goto their office to unblock it and then thats a hassle more than its worth.. 500 every trip is a good deal for me..I just bombard all my friends with msgs..

as regards ML GPRS PPP Error, same experience twice in last 2 weeks. On PC the error "PPP Link was terminated" occurred & first time took 3 days 2 be resolved by ML GPRS team. They said that there was error in their system, although GPRS signal remained present while I was unable 2 connect. Second time they were able 2 fix the error in few hours.
