It appears that your phone is indeed a "3" phone. Perhaps debranded and unlocked? Any other branding or tell tale signs? Box? perhaps 3 manual?

There are different firmwares depending on your region and operator. Unfortunately some operators choose to brand the phone they sell with their logos, not only on the phone but also in the software. They change icons, functions and links etc. >500's phone shows this as the internet key has a headphones sign instead of and internet sign.

no, phone is from HK. As far as i know HK dont have the 3 network..... box, manuals, phone, software, everything is generic
i was thinking of getting it changed for a new one, but i cant be bothered going through all the hassle, as long as it works as it should... but i would like to know why it has this, will need to ask the seller....

You need to manually tick the box under the text box that says show signature when you make a reply. Or if you look
here you can permanently turn it on so that it appears on every post you make.
@>500 I would contact the seller if I were you. Explain the situation and tell them you know it is now generic, because, quite frankly it isn't.

i wil contact him, but i dont see how it could have been branded.... maybe there were some phones meant to be supplied to 3 but production got cut short
really dont know why its like this, will see if the seller gives me a new phone because of this, probably wont as its only a small issue.....

Unless me eyes decieved my, my sister's handset (upgrade on O2 from CPW) was a CDA xxxxxx/33 - Wotan lists O2 CDA as CDAxxxxxx/32 though?

Guys, when I converted my K800 to K810 the other day, before I reverted it back, I noticed that the EROM of my phone remained the same as K800. That was EROM R3A016 and sort of SIBLEY FLAFLA WILMA..bla..bla..in this case, why didn't this part said, e.g, SIBLEY FLAFLA SAMANTHA..bla..bla..as the code of the phone is SAMANTHA? Can you please post the detailed Firmware Info here so that I can see the difference between the genuine K810i firmware and K800-to-K810 one..Thanks a lot.

be carefully, know one guy cople a days ago who messed up his k800 when he flashed k810 software into the phone.
i spooked with SE support before k810 came out, they told me that you couldnt flash a k800 to a k810 ! (also the warranty disappear, but that you know of course)

I have flashed my K800i four times to K810i via Wotan Server, from R1KC001, R1KD002, R1KF001 and R1KG001 just to test the backlit phenomenon. No, problem. My phone is back to K800i perfectly. Anyway, how about the EROM info I request? Please, post the info. Does it say SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA WILMA or SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA SAMANTHA? Thanks again.
