Being in Bangladesh, and not having an International Credit Card, I really hope there were some way I could buy KulanKendi credit from Bangladesh. Can't tell now how many times i've been checking if there is a f/w update for Voda branded "Vanilla" P990i

.... the new f/w is soooooo tempting

I wonder if they are ever going to fix the thumbnail previews of the photos in the Picture Gallery, because they look absolutely horrible. Or is it just my phone?
Denk.

i think the source all of ur problem (low res pic thumbnail gallery, audio crackles, slow transition, delayed Video, slow java, etc) is majorly from hardware limitations, because of SE use STUPID 208mhz NEXPERIA processor. firmware can compromise one problem but sacrifice other point!
So i hope in next gen! stop using NEXPERIA! use XSCALE or TI OMAP instead!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's entirely accurate. We still have the same hardware but we now have fast transition, no delay in video, fast java etc due to the new firmware

but its not as fast as p900, p910 isnt it?
p900&p910 w/uiq 2 use 208 mhz processor. n p990 w/ heavier uiq 3 os still using 208mhz? its a big joke!

The speed problems on the P990i have never seemed like a processor issue to me. I'm pretty sure it's memory. When the system runs out of RAM and starts swapping to the flash card, you're screwed -- like running into molasses, and that's IF the system doesn't crash.
This seems to be much better with the new firmware -- vastly snappier performance with much less swapping to the flash card.
I don't think more processor would be noticeable. Doubling the amount of RAM however -- and how much could that cost? This is what like a $700 phone for f**** sake.

P900 and P910 had 156 mhz processors, not 208 mhz.

Hello all!
Yesterday I got the newest fw! Everything is Perfect, just found 1 strange thing: after instalation of the new fw I try to upgrade 1 time more and Upgrade SW sayed - "There is newer FW, please install it". I did this again, but reseived just same upgrade.
My SW is:

Bluetooth: R5A01
Organizer:R5A17
CDA: R5A13
Do you found the same thing with newest upgrade??
