I've read somewhere that the shake control can be turned ON/OFF. Could be a reason for why it didnt work with you. It wouldnt make sense to have it ON all the time without the ability to turn it off. Imagine jogging with the phone.

I'm sure it is an option in phones that support it. No such options on my W960. Maybe it will appear on a later version of the hardware, but I still don't think the W960 will have the shake control.

The numerical keys seem to be quite small (in terms of height, not width), did you notice any problem typing on the keypad ?

Are the keys slightly in relief to avoid mistypes (like the K750i keypad which isn't totally flat) ? It's hard to tell from the pictures, even this close.

Thanks !

comparitivly the output in w00 ,,k750...was way loud..
just hope its the same this time around..
is it??
again...is the camera as good as the one on k800 w/o flash..
and is video recording better than k800 like was on the p990

You can tell the difference between keys although they are pretty much flat. It's possible that the keyboard could change before release, so can't really comment.

Absolutely no way to change tracks by itself while in your pocket. In order to use shake control you have to press the W button at the same time.Maybe thats the case,if Jimster forgot to press it, it won't work.I don't mean to offend you Jimmy, just supposing a possible reason.

Difficult to say as this can change before release. Seems pretty loud to me though.

The camera seems the same as the P1. I prefer the interface on the K800, with the box in the centre of the screen when focusing. Camera is pretty decent though and the video recording looks good. Camera quality on the P1 improved throughout it's development, so things could change on the W960 camera before release.

No HSDPA. No EDGE. No VGA 16M colours. No GPS. No Xenon flash. Still using older Nexperia chipset. No joystick (Some people prefer it). No shaker feature. Included DS220 missing caller ID display. Video only 15 FPS.

Just a few things that could have made this 'the' perfect phone.
