can you say CMOS man those are horrible pics, this can not be the same camera found in the i-mobile 902 which by the way was a horrible phone but as far as camera it was the best I have ever seen, I owned the phone a while ago and the camera was simply fantastic, these photos loook like SSSSSSHHHH*********TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT SE better fix this up and fix it fast cause right now this looks like nothing to upgrade for, those who say its a proto fine, but i hope firmware can do miracles cause thats what it looks like its gonna take to make those pics better, goood dammnn the dissapointment

Love the phone but hate the shiny back. It leaves so many finger prints on the phone and damn hard to clean. I didn't like the buttons o the K810 specially after using the K800 but after a while you get used to using it.

Agree, thoose pics prove it's CMOS, and it's hardly better than k800i, to me it looks like exactly same sensor with better resoultion(which means shit).
Check the pic with flash, same crap as k800i, now i'm disappointed, as i could live with crap keyboard, i can't live with crap pics.
And no firmware won't fix this, same with k800i, they haven't upgraded camera quality with newer firmwares...

From Mobiletoday.co.uk
"The K850i has been designed with standard compact camera features, and bears an almost identical look and feel to a compact camera.
It is also preloaded with shortcuts to blogs and social networking phenomenon,
Facebook. It is due to hit the market this Christmas, expected to be between free and £50 on contracts upwards of £45 a month."

I think Vodafone is the only operator to dabble with facebook so far, (article on esato somewhere), so does this mean Vodafone will have an exclusive on one of the colours?

whoever posted those sample shots have only been in the field for less than 2 years, or they're from hong kong/taiwan
it's a common practice not to post "demo pics" of prototypes (camera, check out all preview articles on dpreview imaging-resource etc), as simple as that., it is not fair for the company, neither is it fair for consumers who are going to make the buying decision.
anyway, im not worried because the pics were taken by shaky hands (shaky hands will make the best 10000$ dSLR pics look crap) and i remember the k800i so called proto pics were crap too.
