I don't encounter the SMS timing bug. If it helps, I've set my timing to Singapore and using UK English language. Thus, I doubt it has anything to do with the language pack in use...

A little clarification:
My theory about the language pack was that it might have been the reason for SMP indicating the country code as 44. I did not mean that it could be related with the sms timestamp thing.
Anyway, the fact that he is using US English (and not UK) has already disproved it

Just tested this myself... When you end the call the call timer resets to 00.00... but when the calling screen dissapears the last call time (and the red phone icon for ending a call) is shown in the space where the date normally is for a few seconds... So it looks fine to me...
Yes, you are right. I've never noticed the red phone icon at the end of the call
I would prefer if the resetted timer is not sowhn anyway, but this is a really little bug for me..
Thanks

Is anyone else getting less than average reception from their P1i? I get a full compliment of bars in my house on the same network but using my old Nokia. On the P1i I get 2 bars!

Yes but the phone is set to 3G and GSM, not one or the other. Also, if I select just GSM I cannot send or receive MMS messages.

It always happens to me. When I have GSM and 3G the signal strength bar is always reduced... That is why I prefer to have GSM only. Ony when I go to a place when I know the 3G network has capacity I will use it there.

How will you know if someone has sent you a MMS though? ...and if you want to send one you will have to switch on 3G. It all seems to be a faff.
