I should imagine so. I have an older K850i I can check with so I'll let you know later, if no-one else has tried for you.

Phone arena have posted a preview, which is quite negative towards the phone.

"We do not like the concept of this device. On one hand you have this large screen and on the other it cannot be used for proper phone navigation. Like we said, we have already seen this on the LG Secret and KS360 (Neon). The thing is their displays are really small and wouldn’t be comfortable for use with your bare fingers anyway. In our opinion, the Sony Ericsson Aino should have been something similar to the LG KF700 – device that features a fully functional touch sensitive screen with the keypad being just an alternative option for people who doesn’t like pressing the screen or would rather type away without using it. Honestly, the phone looks like based on an ill-conceived concept at the moment. "

"It´s quite an irony that the camera can only be operated with slider closed, meaning you can easily end up navigating the menus (Aino is open), selecting the camera function, then having to close the slider to take pictures then opening the slider to get to the menus again when you have finished. Not really intuitive!"

Totally agree with the review of it.

Believe me, with this phone you will definitely get into the habit of taking pictures with the phone closed.

The ergonomics of the phone call for it to be held in both hands, and with the slider closed, when taking a picture. Like the C905 - and especially with this phone because it is longer - you will very rarely take a picture with the phone open, its just too long and unwieldly.

I never take a picture with my C905 with the phone open. However, even on the C905, if you want to take a picture from the main menu, you still have to take the time to open the lens cover.

Anyway, might this use the same sensor as the C905. I remember before the C905 was released that it was capable of VGA recording but it got scaled back at the last minute.

The more i read about this device, the more stupid it gets.
It feels like a rushed device, it looks great, but having a semi touch UI, with such a low resolution LCD, i mean, it should've been to the marked a year ago imo.
I'm not impressed.
I much rather have a touch OSE without the keypad and with the Satio cam, in a metal body, and i want it towards x-mas.
Satio wouldn't do it for me either, S60V5 looks bland, let's see how much SEMC have fixed the UI.
But i rather have a capasitive 3.2" touch device with OSE UI in a stylish body, than some hugh 3.5" LCD in a big body
Are you listening SEMC?

I don't think the resolution is low. It's 432x240. Compare it to 320x240 - more that 100 pixels longer. And it's 3.0". It's just big. However, there is place enough for 3.2", but...

Ok?

This is supposed to be a high end device right?
Then give me one example of another high end touch device with worse resolution than this.
