So Apple finally release a Phone in 2009 that has features that were present in 2006, and in all honesty should have been found on the very first IPhone release, and fans start drooling and getting wet with excitement =D.
Nothing new. It still wont appeal to most people who arent either American, living in London, have a super high income and are able to afford a second or third 'shiny new toy' on top of their current Nokia, SE, HTC or Blackberry handset.

Even i think that's a little harsh
The iphone, in it's latest incarnation, has now evolved in to something i can quite happily use, and recommend to others

It is an ok specified phone now, but still out of date and underspecified. By now we should have had an I Phone HD, or at least 5 MP and a wider resolution. VGA resolution is so 3-4 years ago =D. My next phone will have to be a HD quality one, this third gen I Phone would still be a downgrade for me.
They are always far below average spec for the amount of money they ask for it.
Nvidia tegra smartphones or Snapdragon ones will be stomping all over this one soon, as well as Samsungs current offerings and will probably still be cheaper with HD features.
Nothing new, nothing exciting, nothing innovative, its just that Apple have finally caught up to the level that the I Phone 1.0 should have been at several years ago.

@Bhavv = Yawn. Months pass and you still can't change the record. If you can't post anything positive or more to the point DIFFERENT in iPhone discussions, then move along and post in another thread for a phone you actually OWN!

@Bhavv when you think about it....................
Apple could have added a 3MP cam, MMS, BT, cut & paste etc etc to the very first iPhone but they didn't they though hmmmm lets sell a few units without, so they did next release they add a few more features, whilst nothing new to the mobile world they were to the iPhone 3G so they sell a few more units, etc etc etc etc see what Apple have done is sold numerous units to numerous people without first showing their full deck of cards, IMO this has made for an excellent Business plan as they will have made a few $ out of it. The Apple name & reputation has allowed them to carry this off and good luck to them!

Are there any good camera apps out there? The standard camera seems pretty damn basic!?

A better question would be are there any camera apps out there! Well, I know there is one - Camera Zoom. You can guess what it does

It's a pretty simplistic app tbh, but only 59p iirc. Snapture is another one, which allows you to change a few options like sepia/negative and all that jazz, but I'm afraid that's a JB app. Probably isn't geared towards the touch focus on the 3GS either
