Shutter speed is working fine for me, but I have had the screen go dark when focusing also.
It seems to only happen when you select manual shutter, and keep the EV at 0.
If you adjust the EV control up or down once, its fine, even if you change it to +3, then back down to 0.
(but what is the point of selecting the auto shutter speed scene, if you keep the EV at 0?, makes NO sense)
did you try to adjust the EV control?
- 2.0 = 1/6400s or 1/5000s
- 1.7 = 1/3200s
- 1.3 = 1/1250s
- 1.0 = 1/640s
- 0.7 = 1/250s
-0.3 = 1/125s
0.0 = 1/50s
0.3 = 1.25s
0.7 = 1/10s
1.0 = 1/5s
1.3 = 1/2s
1.7 = 1s
2.0 = >1s

this is how it is supposed to work. there is nothing wrong.
Do you understand how shutter speed works?
You only need to use manual shutter speed if..
1. You need more light in the picture (slow shutter)
2. You want to freeze a moving object (fast shutter, but requires more light)
3. You want to create a special effect

It's possible but the phone won't play the video, so it's practically of no use.

@ All
Can someone check the maximum resolution that C905 can PLAY?
I'm trying to aim for 400 x 300 or something more - But grr!!! My C905 got faulty - i opened it up for correcting some problem but accidentally broke the socket that receives the strip from C905 slider

I hope it gets fixed
