Agreed, the TX photos seem superior to the iPhone 5 photos in every possible way. Can't wait to see more comparisons, especially between Sony and Nokias upcoming Windows phones.

Hey am I missing something here, or are the pictures above for the TX far better than the pictures taken by Phonearena in their review of the Xperia T? Both phones have the same camera, no? But the pics above are far, FAR better than Phonearenas night and day samples.

Here, check for yourself

It's not fair comparison on those two pictures.

Sony's photo are taken in night mode with shutter speed 1/4s and iphone pictures are in standard mode and with 5x faster shutter speed: 1/20s.

Advantage of iphone samples is that they could be made from hand and pictures are still clear (no blur).
1/4s from sony require to put phone on the ground so it can be still while taking picture.

Still, Sony is ... SONY !!!

I've noticed it too. Almost all TX samples are way better than T. Strange! Could it be TX run some newer software optimization?

EDIT:
Nope, both T/TX run on software 7.0.A.1.303_56_f100, but those initial amazing photos from ePrice (TX) ran on 7.0.A.1.234_56_f100

Cheers,
Miki

Pop Quiz ...

we all know the last movie that a SonyEricsson phone appeared in, however what was the LAST SmartPhone by SE/Sony to appear in the movie and name the movie. Hint ... there are 2 top of the line models that showed up.

X10 I can't remember the title, but Mila Kunis is lead actress and it comedy movies
Satio in The Vow, I guess.

I really eager to see more from Xperia 2011 and 2012 model in film or music video, but not found much.
Only David Guetta music video Little Bad Girl from last year that feature Xperia arc.
