P.S: Another disastrous and biased comparison, but briefly, 808 "True Pureview" is arguably the world's best cameraphone, S IV Zoom is surprisingly very good and 1020 is a true 920 with 41 MP !!!

808 is a better camera. 1020 can be fixed with software but whether they fix it is a big question.

Remember 808 "True Pureview" sensor is larger (1/1.2") and more powerful flash (4 meters), if BSI sensor and OIS were essences for outstanding image quality, Htc One and Lumia 920 Pureview would be the best cameraphones, and in fact are among the worst !

But there's too much yellow tint and grainy.
1020 need software update.
The thing's missing is the choice of other resolution and not only 5mp or 34/38mp.
Not bad for the S4 zoom but this device is too bulky !

In most agree with you, the S IV Zoom surprised and proved with a great alternative to Nokia Pureview devices !

My conclusion is : the 808 is better but the 1020 is better for the common people.

P.S: Elop is simply confirming the fan boys Nokia attempt to deny... 1020 shall always saturated colors (unrealistic) and noise even in images with excellent light conditions !
808 is “True Pureview,” while the 1020 is simply a 920 with 41 megapixel !
