You know what, I'm done.
First calling idiots those who buy waterproof phones (the same was said earlier about people buying every new iphone) and now shouting at others for what you don't like. Bonovox was right saying that Sony is no amateur when it comes to image postprocessing, by some there are even considered the best compared to Canon, Nikon and surprise even Samsung. What does that prove? That all those companies have different approach to their mobile photography.

You can call me a fanboy, anti-Samsung or whatever but I wasn't the one calling other idiots cause they bought an iPhone or waterproof phone!

Cheers!

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Wins Our Blind Camera Comparison Competing Against Xperia Z3, Galaxy S5, G3, Galaxy Note 3 And iPhone 6

P.S: Z3 And G3 Were The Worst

The G3 has a very good camera, gsmarena said it's great and other sites say it's better than the S5 so I was surprised by this, although it's only a blind comparison, doesn't mean much.

The laser auto focus is great and a dual LED is always much better than the single ones, I'm surprised Samsung and Sony continue with single flashes seeing as Apple, LG and HTC use dual ones.

This is what puzzles me and concerns me the most about Sony. I think they make brilliant cameras. Right now, I want to buy a Sony Alpha 6000, ive had my eye on it for a couple of months and it gets awesome reviews.

But in their Z series of phones, they lack so much detail and yet we find that often Sony make the sensors and optics in many other competing devices.

I can only assume its because Sony's business strategy to lower the output of their phones in order to keep their DSLR / CSC business alive. But then you have Samsung that have put really good cameras into the last two generations of Galaxy S's and Note's when they have cameras out like the Samsung NX30 which ive also been looking at buying - (although prefer the a6000) who don't seem to limit their handsets. I genuinely think the Z series could produce so much more better images, but Sony don't want them to.

Im really looking forward to getting my Note 4 now just for the camera. With my S3, I take very little pictures with it, but the Note 4 is looking like a real contender to replace my 4 year old Nokia N8.

Well I used it as my main phone for 18 months till I switched to Android with the S3.

Since I don't own a digital camera anymore (gave them to family as hand-me-downs) the N8 has been my main digital camera this past 2.5 years ive had the S3.

I wanted to get a 1020, but theres rumours of a successor that might be in the pipeline, just for its camera alone. But now im thinking go with the Note 4 camera except for when I need a xenon flash if it competes with the N8.

I still have a bridge camera a Fuji one which I do use for professional night photography which is something I really enjoy doing. The future for camera phones is going to be amazing down the years

My favourite thing about the Note 4 is probably the OIS camera. I thought it would have come with the Note 3 but alas it didn't.
