Max_wedge, I have no more new comments. I will continue charging the battery of my phone as I am used to. Because daily practice has proved to me and my friend that in this way the battery lasts the longest and also "lives longer".
But as you asserted, the frequent charging neither worsen the functionality of lithium battery nor shortens its lifetime.
So, it is your choise, mobile users, how you charge your battery. Both ways might be correct.
Though, hereby it would be good to have some comments from mobile users who have charged their lithium batteries frequently during 3-4 years and have almost always started to charge their batteries before
it has turned empty and switched off. Is your battery as powerful now as it was in the beginning (during first year)?
By the way, Max_wedge, would you prefer lithium ion or lithium polymer battery? Why?

Aivar, my T28s lasted for three and a half years before I sold it (all lithium batteries will not last much longer than three years before the chemistry naturally breaks down regardless of charging patterns - that's just a fact of chemistry according to the people who design these things).
I never deep cycled it, mostly charged it everynight, but also often let it discharge halfway. I never let it run completely dead.
So surely if my battery can last over three years, and your battery can last over three years, doesn't that just mean it doesn't matter what charging method is used the battery will last just as well?
I guess I think because your battery has lasted so well you assume it is because of how you charge it, but what if they just last that well anyway? You are using circular logic ie: "I am assuming batteries must be deep cycled to last a long time, and since I deep cycle mine and it has lasted a long time, therefore that assumption is correct." When there could be other explanations as to why it has lasted as long as it has.
