Hi, i have found this thread very helpful and informative as I have the Dss-25 and wanting to use the total server to debrand my k700 from the orangeness
- ieagerly anticipate the DSS25 functionality to be added to total server...
Can anyone let me know what the DTR and RTS checkboxes are?
Also, i seem to have messed up my brothers phone ( same model) using the SE update service... its the flashing white and black screen thing. Will the total server reflash thing sort it you think?

OK to clear at least one thing up... To get back T9 languages after decustomization you have to use NORMAL page flash in TS 1.28, download the new customization file *.K7C for language you need and flash it to phone...

Simple firmware flashing is only(on normal tab) which doesn't discounts credit from the user. If you upload language or customization file or use Default page to flash phone it discounts one credit.

Yes you can. Use the NORMAL page flash with 3 files (*.K7S, *.K7L and *.K7C). You will need 1 credit.

people. i have just debranded my vodafone branded k700!! after 3 long weeks, searching for the answer, looking in every vodafone shop, and evry market that gets rid of vodafone crap off the phone, and i have found the answer, which u all know by now.
i jus like to thank every one who participated on this forum topic, thanks to anlog, jools, iamcrunchie and many others that have helped me during the process. and evryone,,, yes the 1.28 is confusing, but stick with it. first wat i did was the default first, then after 20 minutes of uploading, i quickly went on normal and did everything there.thats all, . so ppl its default first, do wat it says, then normal second. thats the way i did it. result??? mp3s as ringontes, menu icons are faster frame rate, more smooth, look nicer, has more memory cos the vodafone screen saver is off, frames issue fixed, backlight is improved . too many to say.

Well, I just got back from a mates house after trying unsuccessfully to de-brand my O2 K700...
Using TOTAL Multserver v1.28
I followed all the instructions to the letter, but got a variety of errors at various stages of the process.
1st Attempt: Stopped at the "Sending preloader..." stage
2nd Attempt: After "Sending preloader..." stage I got "Error occured: 0x002A09"
3rd Attempt: After "Sending Flashlolader..." stage I got "Error occured: 0x002A20"
4th Attempt: After "Sending preloader..." stage I got "Error occured: 0x002A09"
Fortunately, my phone is still working, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Any ideas? Could it be the PC? The cable came from FaceOff and seems to work because it communicates with the phone partially...

How many credits did it cost you to do both DEFAULT and NORMAL modes? Do you have to keep the phone turned off between performing the DEFAULT and NORMAL steps? I want to debrand and do the firmware update only (English T9 is perfect for me)
