What makes me laugh (or cry incredulously) is that both Islam and Christianity have THE SAME GOD!!!!!! They even both have Jesus as a prophet.
It makes me wonder if the world would be a better place with NO religion, so we can have less of this petty 'my religions better than yours' crap and people willing to wipe others out simply because of their religion
My mother told me this saying, not sure where it came from, it's quite true:
In a place where you have one religion you have a dictatorship/totalitarisnism
In a place where you have two religions you have war
In a place where you have three or more religions you have peace and freedom
What this saying doesn't say is what a place would be like with no religion - would it be a better place or a worse place?
Anyway, this thread is getting stupid now, it's degenerating into a flame war and way off topic! Everyone here thinks they're right and won't listen to other's viewpoints - just how the terrorists (and Bush!) probably think!

It could be anyone indeed but WHY they blame Islam immediately is what inspires all these common arguements!
And as i mentioned earler,
Islam and Terrorism do not go together.

It was Mossad. The CIA. MI5. MI6. The Martians. The French (Paris lost the Olympic bid).
Do some people do ANYTHING but make up conspiracy theories?

Even if it is proven that these Bombers were Muslims, let me say it once again - "Islam does not allow these actions and these people are not true muslims as they are not following their religion". It's because of these insane humans that my religion gets a bad name in the eyes of the world and i feel very hurt by this deep down.
I pray 5 times a day and know the whole Quran by heart word by word and am very proud of my religion. It gives us peace and tranquility in the heart and this is why it is the worlds fastest growing religion.
Whenever a terrorist act occurs in the world, ISLAM will be blamed but please try and understand what my religion is all about and then judge for yourselves.
As miss C said above, these people are not really muslims and their are a minority. Do not judge the whole Islamic religion because of these fools.
Since Thursdays actions we at our mosque have prayed sincerely for the innocent people killed and injured. We feel hurt also by the actions and the innocent lives lost.
Sorry to go on, but its hurts me when my religion gets accused because of some minority groups around the world.

i am not a believer of any religion myself but i have an open mind and what you are saying is right
no religion whether it be islam, christianity or any other condones violence/murder
these people whoever they are are WRONG and should be punished
it is not fair to label anyone just because of other peoples actions
