5.5 seems interesting. Where to change MXE-60 compression in this driver? Cant find these lines:

SET_JPEG_QUALITY= $p1 0e
$c1 01
$s2 55

Its night here so I want to do some night shots.

SET_JPEG_QUALITY=07 02 00 13 !0 !1 !2 #CMD_END; // It's signify:
Take three parameters(different for each size):
copmression for initial, average and last quality.

NORMAL QUALITY
seq_set_prop_5_0=$z0 $p1 0e // CHECK IF accessory flash is connected
$c1 00 // IF flash is not connected
.....
.....
$cl // ELSE, IF flash is connected do nex commands
.....
.....
$cx; // END IF

FINE QUALITY
seq_set_prop_5_1=$z0 $p1 0e // CHECK IF accessory flash is connected
$c1 00 // IF flash is not connected
.....
.....
$cl // ELSE, IF flash is connected do nex commands
.....
.....
$cx; // END IF

Do you understand that?

5.5A & 5.5B Comparison

[ 5.5B ]
Macro: On
Night: Off
WB: Daylight
EV: 0.0

[ 5.5A ]
Macro: On
Night: Off
WB: Daylight
EV: 0.0

5.5A has the closest to true colour, but the exposure is too low so you get quite alot of black areas in the corners, but this may just be because there isn't enough sunlight. I will try taking some more 5.5A photos when the sun is more visible.

hi tory!

I think e-man's 3.1 can do better macro shots than 5.5 in my opinion.

I am just waiting for the camdriver being tested by askd and his testers.

Analisis camera driver version 3.1:

seq_init=05 02 00 0B 90 #CMD_END 05 02 00 0C 07 #CMD_END
06 02 00 01 00 52 #CMD_END
05 02 00 18 00 #CMD_END
06 02 00 01 03 56 #CMD_END

06 02 00 01 04 56 #CMD_END
06 02 00 01 01 55 #CMD_END
#GET_SENSOR_VERSION;

Two equal parametrs of sharpness.
One set sharpness to 3 and other set it to 4. Nice.
It's real knowhow!
Probably therefore ToryXX said that it super good?
Interesting...
Do you magician Erzan?

Other line so interesting:
seq_set_prop_0=$s0 %0 $-0 0a $b0 00 5 3 06 02 00 01 $w0 06 #CMD_END;
Command $b0 00 5 3 is unnecessary...
Original driver version 5.3 does't have something similar.
Is it line from W900?
