@sponse: maybe it refers to the color of the handset. Is it black?
Try to select white, and check if it changes to W in the description...

I am returning my Z1 this week because its headphone jack is no good.

It is giving electrical noise for the first few seconds after plugging in my earphones (Westone-4R, Shure 210 and j-phonic k2-sp). Sony MDR-1R works well though.

I tried the 'incompatible' earphones with another Z1 in the retail stroe and that unit did not have the problem.

I know this isn't directly about the Xperia Z1 but if you head over to my Flickr page I have just taken some shots with my QX10 SmartLens this is the first time I have had a chance to use it so I don't quiet know what are the best settings. All photos were taken in Superior auto mainly in 13MP resolution however there are a few a 18MP I have also taken the same shot but using the 10x optical zoom. There are 20 photos in total Let me know what you guys think.

I've just tried the Z1 camera. This is in superior auto. No tweaking anything.

Guys, I find the power button a bit too small to my liking...it feels fragile too
Since we don't have the home button, the only way to wake the phone up is the power button

If only there's a mod to let us wake the phone up using other buttons or double tapping the screen

Anyone feels the same as well?

I agree, the button is rather small when compared to the rest of the phone, but not much one can do.

@MyP910. photo looks good, I feel the camera is really good even with this software and when it is nice and sunny outside. I haven't had much time to test my camera yet, perhaps next weekend.

I feel once the camera update rolls out, hopefully quickly then the camera will be just as good as a normal point and shot.

Short question...
Is it possible to have your own wallpaper @lockscreen?
Tested a Z1 the other day in a market and there were just the standard designs.
Just want my own wallpaper.
Thx

@myp910 - looks good! keep playing with it. it will only get better as you learn the camera

@evilhomura - i believe there are some apps on the play store that let you wake it up with volume keys or something. using tap or sensors would use a lot of battery as it's always on trying to sense things. i do sorta wish the power button was a bit bigger but eh. it's not that big a deal for me.

@zukabaeka yes you can change it in the settings.
