Don't suppose the delay between pressing the button to take a picture, and the actual picture being taken has been reduced?

Anger,
nope... the memory stick bug never happend to me... using Sony 1GB Hi-Speed here.... never have any data corrupted or transfered but missing in stick
Like Anger said the K750i memory stick bug is deffo an issue (have a read of page 1)
i know cos I'm one of the other million who had the bug on my K750i with R1N035 - but as with all the FW's not everyone experiences exactly the same problems but the DUO fault was a the major problem with R1N035 on both the k750i and w800i it seems.

i don't know about the memory stick bug... never experienced it a single in my R1N035.
maybe because i do customise before flashing... i use service center not SEUS to update to R1N035

@fu1at
I have R1N035 and I can search using multiple characters in the phonebook - 10 characters to be exact!

Not at SEUS for unbranded sets. SE probably restricted the release to service centers in case something is as bad with this firmware as it was with R1N035 (memory stick problem). Then not as many sets will be updated with "another" bad firmware just in case they want to pull the new R1AA008 firmware.
They did the same a year ago for the K700i... the firmware was released at SEUS a month after it reached the service centers!
