Yeah,even the Poms' equivalent of Checkers,namely asda,are selling el cheapo electronics; the latest special at the mo is for BenQ 17 inch (43cm)TFT pc monitors for £149. Amazing how prices are dropping for electronic goods,cellphones included.

In terms of electronic stuff being cheaper, a friend of a friend bought a plasma screen when it came out, he paid R72 000!!!!! 8 months later a better model of the same brand was selling for R18 999!!!!
Its funny coz I dont like that fool!!!

It should... But instead they're using one of THE most expensive electronics stores around! They're asking R3500 for a K700i, R4800 for a K750i. Utter madness. I think i'm rather opting to get a SE on a decent contract.
