Almost at the end....
Short-Term Confidentiality
Does short-term confidentiality apply to this application?: Yes
If so, specify the short-term confidentiality release date (MM/DD/YYYY format): 07/21/2018
Note: If no date is supplied, the release date will be set to 45 calendar days past the date of grant.

Battery life of XZ2 Compact is updated on GSMArena.com. It's rated as 19:20h talk, 13:04h web and 10:24h video, with 88h standby. 88h is the same as XZ2. It looks not bad but not as spectacular as XZ1 compact. I guess this is probably the reason why Sony will no more make compact models with the high-end CPU as rumor says. The increased screen resolution does have a big impact on battery.

I believe the impact on battery is mainly due to Sony still using IPS LCD capacitive touchscreens ... and may have to move to AMOLED (no backlight required).
It'll be a VERY sad day if Sony makes another Compact like the X1 Compact with lower CPU specs then the flagship or bowes out of that market. I keep having a look at Android phones yet ONLY to Sony, not just for nostalgia reasons yet I don't wish to have a large screen phone (in my hands or my front dress pants/jeans pocket). I've met a few people here in Toronto (Canada) that stick with Sony's Compact line over anything else.

Get it?
PY7-00718V=PY7-21831A=Xperia XZ2
PY7-24118Q=Xperia XZ2 Compact
Only device unidentified is PY7-72474U
https://sumahoinfo.com/xperia[....]no-heeadphone-jack-xz1-premium
We know nothing about this device except that SIM card slot location is the same as XZ2 and no headphone jack.
I hope this is Xperia XZ2 Premium/Pro but could be the midrange H44XX spotted a few days ago.
Is everthing clear now? Are we all on the same page?
Good. Let's speculate

Xperia XZ2 Compact Review
It scores 0.2 point higher than XZ2 (4.5/5)
Both XZ2 and XZ2 compact kicks S9's arse in Video comparison, even the camera samples from both front and rear cameras are pretty good. Imagine how the Dual Camera module inside the next flagship will perform.

The camera really isn't that bad, it just has noise when pixel peeping on low light photos. If they can resolve that with the dual camera setup then it should be excellent.
I applaud Sony for taking a step forward with the camera, but do wish it was a step further. Guess we'll have to wait for the next model since it'll be using the new cameras and processing chip.
