This was one pissed of customer....('',)

Phone rage almost ends in cell

Johannesburg - An angry client nearly ended up in prison after he apparently lost his temper with the staff of a cellphone shop in Vodaworld, Midrand, and told them he had hidden a bomb in the centre.

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said the man had raised his voice and threatened the staff before angrily storming out of the shop.

He was arrested after police had searched the centre.

The centre had to be evacuated, but after an hour everything returned to normal, said centre management on Wednesday.

Superintendent Eugene Opperman, a police spokesperson, said the 30-year-old man appeared in Randburg magistrate's court on Wednesday. The case was postponed for a week.

"The man said he had planted a bomb in the centre, but nothing was found," said Opperman.

"The threat on its own was already a serious crime," said Opperman.

Greetings fellow clan members...

Just to let you know that I've launched a special web page on my site for Sony Ericsson / Apple users. There's not much there now but in time I'll be adding some of my past assistance given to SE and Apple users. Please spread the word and pass it on to the internet-challenged: http://www.wirelessmonkey.co.za/sonyericsson

Also... thanks Brix... and apologies all for being such an enigma on here. Esato has a problem logging me on my Safari browser... it's the Apple / PC shite again.

Other new.. I'll be in Paris next week attebding the annual Apple Expo - anyone want to join me? Keep your eyes open for "live" reports... I hope. Failing that check the Cape Argus, Star and Pretoria News as well as IOL.

@celltech: There were times when I also considered going ballistic inside shops, not cellphone shops though I should add. PS: Any news on when MTN are bringing out the K750? This message was posted from a K700i

What I heard was that some white kid walked in there with a bag and then told someone there was a bomb, and then ran out...
