Just noticed the rear cam is in the center, wonder if this will be also a feature on the z5.

without visiting the link, I thought you meant cam is right at the centre of both horizontal and vertical axis of the phone...

i like the bezel-less sides. finally something different then ob. i'm sure they could avoid the asymmetric top and bottom if they increased the thickness of the device. nice change overall. also, 2 speakers in a mid ranger.

Sony Xperia Z5 with 5.5 inch display, 3GB RAM Coming in September: http://www.mobipicker.com/son[....]y-3gb-ram-coming-in-september/
5.5" is acceptable but only 3 gb of ram? not appropriate for 2h of 2015. take with a grain of salt...
EDIT: most likely fake info or inaccurate. randomuser mentioned it will have 4gb of ram as well as other sources: "Z5 will release this year, but with S810 or S810v2 whatever you want to call it. RAM bumped up to 4GB."

I feel if sony wanted to get it out for purchase in september, early october, they had to choice but use the 810. Besides when the phone was being developed the only top end cpu available was the 810, 820 was not even sampling yet when the z5 was being developed.

I dont think you understand S6 sales.
They weren't actually bad.
It still sold better than previous phones.

All that happend is they underestimated how popular the S6 Edge will be, meaning they had shortages and overestimated how popular the normal s6 would be resulting in surplus s6 stock. Ultimately they took a gamble with the S6 Edge and because of that they lowered expectations and the result is that it exceeded their expectations in sales.

is edge touch screen bar not a new feature?

I didn't say it wasnt?
Whats that got to do with anything? Either way the S6 actually isn't selling bad, they just underestimated how popular the Edge would be.

If Samsung made a billion quid profit last year and only half a billion this year they could be really disappointed....personally I wouldn't be but we are all different I guess. If you look around, the S6 has done pretty well massively closing the gap with Apple and beating it in some regions. That is some achievement.

Nobody is going to have the SD820 this year, I would be really surprised if they could. I would settle with a SD810 that has been tweaked a lot, HTC will probably use the same SD810 in their new device too. I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung use some SD chips in their non-high end phones as well, Exynos will stay high end only. I don't actually think the chip is that bad which is why I think a tweaked version will be just fine but the hard part will be to turn all that negative press around. Adding 4GB RAM will ease my mind for sure. A new camera module that 'doesn't shut down so quickly' if that is the case but you see from a marketing point how this need to be handled. From what I understand, the Z5 will be a step towards something new while the leap will happen in 2016. There are some nice new design elements that they are implementing, I want to see some hard leaks now.

If the next HTC device is a phablet to take on the note, then indeed SD810 would also makes its way into it, but if the next device is the M9 successor, I guess M10? then it will probably ship with the 820 next year.

I think that HTC will announce/release something around IFA so I expect it to be a SD810.
