I've been testing the deiferent Hibryd Camdrivers, then tried 5.3 and 4.5 versions and found that the 4.5 original is the best you can use, the hybrid camdrivers need more control in Sharpness and Exposition. The firmware I use is R1BD001 and 4.5 driver works better than the Hybrid, so you must work as hard as possible to reach the perfection!

PD: For me 5.3 original Sks

can you please post some pics that show that? I've read and viewed every page on this thread, and for thelife of me cannot see any reason to say that the 2.441 (or most of the drivers in fact) have sharpness issues. Infact on many pics that aren't sharp, other people with the same camdriver do produce sharp pics, so I can only conclude the sharpness issue is related to photo taking skills and not the camdriver.

I have had ZERO issues with sharpness from 2.441 or most of the recent drivers.

On the issue of crashing, it's interesting what Andeo says, but again I've not had crashing issues? I have been testing predominately on W800 R1BC002 and haven't had camera crash since the Media Player skins hack(which I no longer use). I've used mostly the aksd drivers, but also 5.6 (which i suspect was based on the 4.5?), so maybe that explains my lack of crashing.

The only problem is that I've tested diferent scenes whith te dieferent ddrivers, but they had very general defects, for example, 5.3 had the problem that took photos with a marker color of the main light, so no real colors reached.... 9.9 was very fast to focus, but... it's focus was a bit imprecise..., 2.441: I didn't like it's night mode and the sharpness was not enough for me, then all erzan's drivers had too the problem of sharpness.... Y tested an edited 5.3 driver which was the best, but...... crashes a lot, it sent me to de main menu when I tried to take a photo...

But there's something courious... I have seen very good photos with 5.3 driver, but only from K750 phones (I use a W800i) I think it's because of the combination FW - Camera Driver...

Y hope find some better driver for mi R1BD001 firmware in my W800i, for now using the original 4.5 Driver which handles the light very well, it only delays a bit to focus a macro, but focuses very good!

@ap0lo

I'm using R1bC002 for W800i. Which f/w should I be using to use 5.5 then :S

5.5a seems to work fine on my f/w

3.1 seems wicked aswell..

i have a suggestion for force flashing MXE-60... since its an add-on to the K750, it must have some kind of sensors to distinguish lighting conditions aite?

what if, we block this sensors like with some objects (paper, tape, or our finger) to let it know that the environment is freakin pitch black... i dont have an MXE (what a pity) so i havent tried that technique yet.. for those who have..

are you sure you have tried tricking the sensors?
