It's difficult to predict a company's strategy,unless u know the whole year portfolio.....so let's all agree to something....in 2011 the samsung galaxy s,the htc desire/desire hd can continue selling well,because the have a more future-proof hardware...but what about x10???well x10 doesn't support multitouch,has lower ram ,so it can't contine selling well in 2011....so sony ericsson needs to quickly replace the x10......maybe it will be replaced by not one device,but two!!!!
the first one will have similar specs to it,but with newer OS/processor,more ram,better camera,bigger screen,and will be priced at around 550euros with a release date around March
and the second one will be released at a later date(JUNE-SEPT),with dual-core processors,1080p recording,etc....priced at 600-700eur
Also,between eldar and avmaxfan....i believe eldar more,whether we like it or not,the things he's saying tend to come true,for example remember vivaz????he was totally right,even for the price of the device....3 months before it was even announced,and 6 months before it was released!!!...The only thing i hope right now,is that sony ericsson wont bother with android 2.2 and will jump to 2.3 immediately...
