If you can show us where to buy the Innov8 for the same price sim-free I'd half agree with you.

That's because you can't think outside the box of your own opinions.

if everyone had the same needs and desires regarding mobile phones, there would only be ONE model available in the whole world, now wouldn't that be a bit boring?

Personally, the SE UI is what appeals to me about the C905, and given a few basic requirements, that the C905 fullfills easily, therefore I am more interested in the C905 than the Innov8.

The Innov8 doesn't have a Xenon flash - why anyone would buy a high end camera phone without Xenon is beyond me!!

That's correct, not everyone is that bothered with the flash, but for me the Xenon is important. It's a shame they didn't put one one the Inv08 as I'd probably be getting one if they had. It seems to be quite a big omssion considering all that they did put in it.

Joe Public is generally very ignorant when it comes to technical details, and Samsung know this, as does every electronics manufacturer in the world.
The amount of people I've seen complaining on review forums etc that the flash on the C902 isn't as good as their old K800i is silly. Most people don't realise there is any difference at all, and unless you are clued up, it never becomes a deciding factor. That's why phones like C902 sell as well as any other camera phone. People just see Cyber-shot and expect certain standards.
