@Jakester, I too really hope that the MW is bundled with the handset, but don't think that very likely here in the UK.. Especially as I will be opting for the Orange subsidized black handset.

@Ricky D: Not that sure what sort of policy Orange could have on the Sim-lock? As long as you can find a way to unlock and keep up the Monthly payments, which you should be able to reduce by one level after six months I think, then crack on... As for the Firmware, there will likely be some hot-keys and links, the auto web-browsing will most likely take you to "Orange World". Howeve on My C905 running Opera Mini, I have no problems at all and am able to browse via Wi-Fi at home. So I can't imagine this should be any harder with the Android set-up.

Quick straw poll, slightly off-topic, how many of you are considering the MW600? I am sorely tempted for the PS3 if nothing else.

@Trickois
I was going to see if I could pick an unwanted upgrade on eBay as I already have a contract, so unlocking it soon as poss would be my aim. I can deal with one or two quicklinks and default homepage stuff, what I'm not keen on is the way Vodafone cripple firmware on their handsets and remove features, but I know Voda and Three are the worst for branded firmwares.

I hope that the MW600 is included with the X10 here in Holland.
Else I will defintely buy it. I've got a playstation and I need one bluetoothset that can manage incoming calls and chat on the playstation.
Other then that, I like to have an radio also.

I hate to say this but I ordered a mw600 separate and it only worked for an hour. I charged it for 8 hours and it seemed to be working fine but after about an hour it froze and wouldn't do anything. Over the last few days I have been charging it again and the indicator light comes on but as soon as I unplug it, nothing. I doubt Sony will do anything about it because I am in the US and it came from Hong Kong. We will see tomorrow when I call the service line. But for the 1 hour it did work, it was great! Sound is awesome! function is awesome. I am pretty bummed it didn't decide to keep working.

On the SE webpage, in the movie further down the timeline, you can see a white MW600 next to the white X10. Will a white one come with the white X10?

It seems like there has been an eternal wait for this phone - although I can see it getting nearer and nearer.

Will be buying the spare battery in a couple of days although there seems to be some compatible accessories missing such as the desktop stand?

@Trickois

The branding of the NTTDocomo version is on the battery cover, so if the Orange version is the same then that's easily replaced I guess.

I cant see producing a desk stand for the X10, the whole point of Android is over air syncing of contacts calendar etc.
If you need to sync it with Outlook you need to purchase third party SW to do so and the only one that seems to work well is gSyncit
