@Brix, it came with Opera v.6.1.
I downloaded v.8 but didn't find it to my liking so i opted for v.6.20 with which i'm more acquainted.
Will probably switch to a later version as soon as the phone's broken in.
@amawanqa, somehow Nokia's entry into that market doesn't surprise me... The naysayers will probably have much to say about it, but i view it as the basis for healthy competition.

For once the insomnia was in abeyance. Must be the onset of the September break that's doing it- i've finished work for the term so all that's left is to hit the road next weekend towards Langkloof for some R&R. @Wireless, happy landings, boet, enjoy Paris. (p.s... does one get Delhi Belly in places like Paris?)

@Kryptik: Mario should be happy to see that you went with the Finns.

Yeah,if you're not careful or sure what you're eating...da Wanqsta got some serious food poisoning after eating fish,in first class nogal, on the Eurostar channel tunnel train, after spending a nice, romantic holiday in Paris.(including proposing to the Mrs on top of the Eiffel Tower at sunset on 25/10/03...major brownie points scored!)
Mind you,I don't think they would've hassled too much about feeding the Anglais with such dodgy dishes...
We generally had bril food at all the restaurants, except when we tried being a bit adventurous and gave a Lebanese restaurant a go,opposite the Hotel de Grenelle, about ten minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower..bleuurghh!!..maybe one has to just have a long-term acquired taste for the stuff..only the falafel was worthwhile recommending...
Oh wel,at least the food kept me 'regular'...
@ WM,
not sure if you have experienced Paris before, but there are a few worthwhile cellphone shops along the Champs Elysses,if walking in the direction of the Arc d' Triumph,on the right hand side of the road.Only major difference I found, compared to some of the big UK cellphone shops, was an obviously impressive range of Sagem handsets and accessories, including their smartphones.
Also,I found it helped if one said if you were from Afrique du Sud before asking for directions or anything,as they not always inclined to help if they here the Queen's language being spoken.
Before I forget,if you use the Frog underground trains, the Metro, check the trains' wheels out..they're rubber tyres!
Oh,and the Mona Lisa is disappointingly small in size, compared to what I imagined,if you get to visit The Louvre...

So i'm assuming you're not overly fond of sushi, Amawanqa? Those brownie points are vital, mate, as i've discovered to my joy. Taking the missus and lil miss to the Langkloof for 10days, and i've promised a coupla outings to the Prince Alfred Pass. That waterfall... The spring flowing down the mountainside... Awesome.
