@Kriomag

you have a very good driver and the features you add-on is simply impressive. but some w810 users do not get good pictures using 7.7, which was originally developed for the k750/w800 phones, while some do. I think its a hardware compatibility issue. maybe SE used different suppliers for w810 cameras, we don't know.

this is why some of us w810 users (me, sarmadgilani,qwerty12,avalon and some others) prefer using the stock 4.5 driver as base driver since its a good and tested driver for our phone. in the same way, if you make a 4.5based driver, i'm sure not all k750/w800 or even w810 owners who will use it will give good results for their phones.

I tried Sarmad's drivers and found them noisier then Kriomags even in a fully lit room. My pics on page 209 came out really clear and when I've taken night pics with the MXE-60 flash attachment the pics didn't need any noise correction software after either.

Ya krio I think you should remove it or figure out a way to enable and disable WB lock. If you can explain exactly how WB lock works on your driver then maybe I can think of a way to have the option of enabling and disabling WB lock.
Another problem I had was with autofocus, sometimes when i hold halfshutter and wait for the cam to focus it goes crazy, sometimes it focuses then the green box dissappears, sometimes it keeps goin in and out of focus but the box never turns green, sometimes when I press halfshutter there is no response from the cam the autofocus box doesn't even appear. I didn't have this problem with 21.9.. Just wondering if im the only one with this wierd issue. I hope im not alone cuz then theres something wrong with my phone.. HELP!!

Any comments on this please???

Meh, I don't think the vivid is a good thing.. the pictures are starting to look like the Nokia N73's artificial colouring, and I absolutely hate it.

Sorry to say this, but I'm not a big fan of this permanent vivid setting for EM/ENM.

viewfinder on SPU drv is slower than on Kriomag drv. can someone confirm that this has any influence on the picture sharpness?

Not sharpness but the autofocus accuracy. Faster viewfinder - faster focus, but lower its accuracy. This has been tested many times on russian forum.
May be there exists some ballance between focus quality and viewfinder speed, but in this way we need to change the default shutter speed and this is not good (the default way to make a fast viewfinder - to remove frame skipping and don't change shutter speed).

yep,that is right!. faster VF makes AF less acurate,especialy in normal mode(seq_set_prop_7_0).
Use fast VF ONLY in night mode(seq_set_prop_7_1) or ENM.okay?

now.i get "the better" with vivid,but i still prefer the default one(control by firmware, not by seq_init)

for me(look my signature), sharpeness 6 is great than other value!
another phone, CID or firmware,please report

@guguly
probably from 7.7 base nothing already became in code this was only start point to many modyfications

@obentou
nahh... n73 has totally oversaturated colours, our phones with vivid are far from this. it's very nice idea to add saturation but ofcourse this shouldn't be to high value to get reasonable effects

Firmware does not control the saturation, it's always 00 by default. So if you don't like "vivid" set the saturation to 00.
I'll experiment will sharpness later...
