@niru: I doubt that its because of weak signal, Am getting 13.2kbps now. Its just sometimes goes really slow. Anyhow, how have you been? I returned to bangalore on monday, called up govind today, he wasn't answering. Any news?

Thuggie...3G is still in testing stage here in bbay...I don't think its being launched newhere be4 07...and when its finally launched, I m sure it'll cost much more than the cost of gprs now...even then, if U want 2 ve a phone 4 the long run I'd suggest 1 with both EDGE & 3G as most of the non metros will still lack 3G.
Now the only problem is that
doesn't ve a single phone with both...I was gonna get the 6680 instead of the 6681 but I want the P990 which is 3G so I choose the 6681...other choices were K-Jam, JasJar etc but I don't want Windows OS phone.
Abt downloading music...I often downloaded music straight to my phone.

@has,yup,its a pity SE dont have EDGE+3G in a single phone.
and no...i will never buy a nokia.
my needs are 2mpx cam,walkman,heavy surfing on phone(preferably a touchpad)...thats why W950 was perfect for me if it had a 2mpx camera.
btw,i will be in Delhi by next month
but i may not be able to take my laptop along with me

@thug: Did you consider the K800i? Should be along by the end of may (hopefully), it has EDGE+ 3G. Also, I fully believe in the capabilities of EDGE, Its just that the networks around bangalore suck.

@debu,K800 wont come to India.only K790...check out the website.both the phones wont be introduced in any single country and if introduced,they would be priced same.also,the design and 3.2mpx cam didnt excite me.wish it had some optical zoom.
and sometime around mid May new 3.2mpx SE phone/s will be announced(maybe clamshell).lets wait and see.
