I wont show you the links because there all over the place lol
well there we have it, I am a bit dissapointed I really thought it be released mid september, Now the important thing is this how compettitive can this be in the market and for how long?
Interesting, but I assume this is the date the generic version is released by

? I think it will be quite a while before we see any UK operator offering this device, they got their fingers rather badly burned with the P990 fiasco, so many operators in the UK passed on the P1.
So I see no reason to be any more optimistic about the X1's general availability it will be OK for the guys who want to pay out top dollar for the SIM free variant but bad new for most people I think.

In the U.S., I've never seen a high-end SE device at any dealer location. Just the Sony store. I don't know if that's true all over the country, but, people that are into high-end devices tend to know all about the SE's regardless. Hopefully, they can get an X1 into the middle of the AT&T showroom in a glass case with dancing spotlights on it so more people can, at least, be aware of their products.....OK, wishful thinking...
I don't know what it takes for SE to get their high-end devices onto dealer showroom floors and kiosks.

The likelihood of selling a few, presumably.

I wonder what Marc has to say about this
"The 256 Mb of RAM is a very big amount for a WM smartphone, and currently the XPERIA panel application consumes less memory than TouchFLO 3D does."
From the
sm@pe preview.

Hi Mizzle,
What i say is release the darn thing already while you still have some customers who want to buy it. Oh and make sure it is stable and bug free to otherwise you might as well call in the liquidators as it will be game over.
Also i wouldn't say that the SMAPE pre review is all that positive either they seem quite happy to highlight quite a few negatives for the X1 and don't paint that rosy a picture for it's success and defiantly not a mass market one at that.
Marc
