A phone like that already exists. Namely the W995.

Nope, that one lacks the good price

I would hardly think (for me at least) when the samsung innovat8 costs 600 euros the N86 is scheduled to be 500 or more euros and then the C905 costing 450 euros the 420 or less euros is a bad price for a damn fine phone like that.

Well it sounds to me that there is going to be more than one touch screen phone announced.

The 12MP on Idou is huge. What we have to ask ourselves is if SE was announce another Entertainment Unlimited touch device, how would it differ from Idou?

Either a QWERTY version or a cheaper one. That's what I think at least.

There are more touchscreen phones to be announced this year. If Idou is set for release late this year, I have no idea as to when any others will come. At least one Xperia has to come at the end of the year.

Good news is that there is a touchscreen music phone somewhere. No idea if it is still a drawing or a working proto but it is out there.

if their touchscreen software is solid, they should definitly think about releasing phones for each segment. i'm not talking about flooding the market, but open the advantages of TS phones for the mainstream.
thats more or less what the 5800 did, but mid-end is also where size matters
providers currently really want phones that allow people to us the internet, at least in austria they hardly make any money from casual texting and phoneing - so data is where their new goal is. and to achieve this they need internet orientated devices.
give them what they need and your balance sheet will smile again

You were saying about a smaller price for the innovat8 then 600 or more?

Germanos is the leading Mobile Phone store here. So I doubt they could be ripping us off. I mean the C905 is 470. Like the tocco and Pixon pricing above. The W995 though will surely be around 400 or less. Of course though they can pull a C902 W902 where the W995 could come out 100 euros more. I mean the C902? 300 euros. The W902? 420 euros. Crazy stuff I am telling you.

Let us hope that SE announces new touch-devices and no normal ones. This is the last chance for SE to overlive.
