@nzrocketman its on the box.
@deltarick - oh i see. i definitely don't have such a big yellow patch but there is a very slight warm color temp which i correct with a software adjuster. you don't even notice it really until you've made the adjustment.
where did you hear about the update coming? xperiablog reported that update was in the process of being certified a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything since. my guess is it will bring more bug fixes mostly and maybe battery/screen optimizations. i don't think it will bring any camera changes yet. but i am just guessing
www.xperiaguide.com has it reported coming soon

Thats where I've seen it on xperiaguide as rocketman says.......meant to mention before but battery seems a lot better than my S3 was aswell, same as you I'd like a magnetic charging lead and was thinking of buying the dock to remove it but its a bit pricey?!
Is it possible to change the home screen clock font without installing a launcher?

deltarick - if you're talking about the digital clock widget, then no. you'll have to install another clock widget if you want to change the font. the standard one is very basic.

@geoffxx do it. just put another screen protector on for the next time you drop it on concrete and dance all over it
just ordered illumishield with the intention of removing the ASF and replacing it - I also have a flip case on the way ordered from Clove - was shipped with my SM2 last week
I'm just angry I was so careless with my Z1 after such a short time and I keep getting reminded every time I look at the screen lol, won't remove the ASF until I have the replacement and flip case
I've had phones for years and never had someone trip on a cable knock it to the floor then stand on it and grind it face down into rough concrete

was able to get a hands on the Z1 at my local (Canada) Sony store today. Screen looks great, better or as good as the Z Ultra. Im guessing that will be the NA model, C6906 is going to be like. Had mine preordered cant wait until next week.

When it's out, oct 15 in canada I believe. What a accessories do you guys recommend? what does the package come with btw. I'm sure canada don't get any preorder bonus. The cheap magnetic charger from dx-box looks like it might be handy, is it only for charging or it works like a USB.

cool. accessories are personal preference i think. just figure out what you need and get them accordingly
personally i would recommend a fingerprint proof screen protector, a bluetooth headset of some kind, magnetic charger/dock (official or not, you decide), and those car chargers with USB ports (very useful).
i wouldn't order anything from dx-box.. i've heard bad things about them and the fact that they show Sony products in the picture, when chances are they won't send you a sony product, makes them sneaky to me.
i don't know if the magnetic charger is for charging only or not, but I believe it is only for charging. I don't think you can transfer data. but i'm honestly not sure. just guessing
don't have any idea what will come in the package as it's specific to the region, but my guess would be charger and standard earphones and that's about it.
