mine is LG...got free with my laptop.it was working fine for a long time.i hadnt used it in past 3-4 months.but last night i needed it and ....damn.is there anyway i can get it working??

well thug,did u try formatting. my friend had a similar prob with his pen drive ,then he downloaded the soft for flashing the drive and then flashed it,then it was allright.So try to find the drivers and firmwire.
